Welcome to the forest
The Old Forest Farm is a small nursery located in Southern Ontario, Canada. We grow many types of trees, shrubs, fruits & more! With a focus on permaculture, agroforestry and ecological economic principles, our goal is to help increase the biodiversity, food security and natural resiliency in our local community.
About Us
We do not use pesticides, fungicides or herbicides. Everything we grow is free from any chemicals. We collect the majority of our own seeds from local sources. We make our own compost and source all inputs locally. We grow mushrooms in our wood chips to help establish fungal networks that transport nutrients within the soil.
Additional Services
Along with our trees & plants for sale, we also offer a variety of services to our local customers. We help plant wind breaks, establish food forests, edible landscapes and more! Our site is constantly under construction and we are always adding new content, so stay tuned!
